Washington at Tampa Bay

A pair of new coaches square off in week four and new coaches often want to prove something in preseason. New Redskins coach Jay Gruden certainly has, with the team 2-1 SU/ATS. They are a dog here at Tampa Bay but have a terrific QB rotation for preseason with Kirk Cousins, Robert Griffin III and Colt McCoy, a lot of veteran/starting experience. Washington’s defense was outstanding against the Ravens last week as a lights-out force through three games of preseason auditions. The first-team defense put the Ravens' ground game in neutral, allowing just 82 yards. This game features the Buccaneers’ reserves playing against a Redskins second-team offense that has been very good. Tampa Bay needed a good showing in week three after opening with two losses and they did with a 27-14 decisive win over the Buffalo Bills, so there is little more to prove. Tampa Bay is averaging just 17 ppg on offense and the Redskins have more than enough depth, good QB play and emotion for the new coach. Take the Redskins.
