Many may have thought that the Washington win over Dallas last week was a fluke, but some of the numbers surrounding this team indicate otherwise. The Redskins needed a big win vs. a big team to get them believing. This may come as a shock to you, but which team leads the NFC in yard differential per play? Surprisingly, the answer is the Washington Redskins at +0.8. That figure ranks #2 in the league as they average 6.2 yards per play, while the defense allows just 5.4. The 6.2 yards per play is exactly what Denver averages, but no one would put the Washington offense in the same league as Denver. It is no secret that Minnesota has struggled on offense, breaking in a new QB and not having Adrian Peterson in the backfield. Things are getting worse as they average just 12.7 points per game over their last three. The Vikings' 4.9 yards per play ranks last in the NFC, so the Skins have a huge advantage in this game on both sides of the ball. Washington has played well on fieldturf as they are 7-3 ATS in their last 10, and Minnesota has been an inconsistent team, logging a 2-7 ATS mark in their last nine when following a win. The line just isn't right here, so take Washington.
