We certainly have gotten used seeing Peyton Manning spending the last two weeks of the season taking limited or no snaps. Things are different this year as the gifted QB has had a trying year with a career-high 17 INTs and a career low 6.9 yards per attempt. Despite the injuries, and a less-than expected showing from Manning, the Colts offense has gone for 30+ in four straight weeks, averaging 32.5 points per game. The problem is that the defense has been giving it right back, and for an even longer period of time. The Colts stop unit, or “can't stop anyone unit,” is allowing 30.5 points per game in their last six. That includes a 30-28 win vs. Tennessee. The 28 points the Titans got against the Colts was after two weeks of scoring a grand total of 6 points, so the Colts can't stop anyone. Indy beat Texans by 13 points all the way back in week seven - the only team in the last 12 games they were able to top by more than 10, so this line is off the mark. The Titans are 16-5 ATS the last 21 times they scored 15 or less in their previous game. They are also 7-1 to the OVER this season vs. good offensive teams like the Colts (those averaging 350+ yards per game). The Titans would like nothing more than to keep the Colts from celebrating. Take Tennessee and the OVER.
