The rebuilding Tennessee Titans play hard for this coach -- unlike their opponent here. Tennessee shut down Atlanta's potent offense last week, improving to fifth in the league in yards allowed. Tennessee was a dog at Tampa Bay and won 42-14. While the Titans have been up and down, things have gone from bad to worse in Houston. The Texans lost star running back Arian Foster last week to a season-ending Achilles injury in a lopsided loss at Miami, down 41-0 at the half! Then, with calls for his firing by disgruntled fans increasing, Houston head coach Bill O'Brien released backup quarterback Ryan Mallett after he missed the team's flight to Miami last week. Houston re-signed QB T.J. Yates to replace Mallett but Brian Hoyer will continue to start. Their musical-chair QB rotation has certainly not helped the offense, ranking 19th in points. The dysfunctional Texans are on a 2-6 ATS run, including a 6-13 ATS run at home. On defense, Houston ranks 28th in the league, allowing 28.4 points a game. And when these teams play the road team is 4-1 ATS in their last five meetings. The bottom line is Houston is the worst team in the league, yet they giving points? Play the Titans.
