Tampa Bay at New York

New York couldn't have asked for a better showing for a Week 1 game as the Jets demolished Carolina 27-0 with Zach Wilson throwing for 123 yards on 14 of 23 with a touchdown and no interceptions and Tim Boyle went 9-for-10 for 84 yards and two TDs and one pick. The Jets also ran for 141 yards and held the Panthers to 52 yards rushing and the game went UNDER by 10.5 points. The Jets are 1-1 as they did lose to Cleveland in the Hall of Fame game. Tampa Bay lost 27-17 to Pittsburgh and the Buccaneers ran for only 66 yards on 2.5 yards per carry. Baker Mayfield and Kyle Trask are battling for the starting job, but John Wolford threw for 111 yards on 10 of 17 passing with a touchdown. Robert Saleh is 6-1-1 straight up and 5-3 ATS in preseason action compared to Tampa Bay coach Todd Bowles, who is 7-13 straight up and 8-12 ATS and 14-6 UNDER with the Jets and Buccaneers and last year Tampa Bay lost all three preseason games and didn't cover in any of them and two stayed UNDER.
