Tampa Bay at New Orleans

Tampa Bay covered the number its last three games in 2017 and topped it off with a 31-24 win over the Saints in the season finale to salvage something from a disappointing 5-11 season. New Orleans, of course, lost the NFC Divisional semifinal on a miracle last-second 61-yard touchdown by the Vikings. Jameis Winston is suspended for the first three games of the regular season and Ryan Fitzpatrick will fill in. Fitzpatrick is in his 14th season in the NFL and he appeared in five games last year and completed 96-of-163 passes for 1,103 yards with seven touchdowns and three interceptions. He faced the Saints in November and was 8-of-15 for 68 yards and a touchdown with no picks. The Bucs are hoping rookie second-round pick Ronald Jones II will emerge as a top-rated running back after a disappointing preseason. The offensive line has been retooled and the defense has been rebuilt and wants to atone for last year's performance. New Orleans is 0-4 ATS in Week 1 the last four years and last year's gut-wrenching loss to Minnesota could have a lasting effect. The Saints are also just 3-7 ATS their last 10 September games.
