Tampa Bay at Detroit

Tampa Bay lost to the Lions 20-6 on Oct. 15, but the Buccaneers have improved greatly since then as they have won six of their past seven games while averaging 24.0 points per game. The Buccaneers had no trouble last week while destroying Philadelphia 32-9 with a rejuvenated Baker Mayfield throwing for 337 yards and three TDs and no interceptions and they outgained the Eagles 426-276. Rachaad White ran for 72 yards on 18 carries and nine different players had at least one pass reception. Tampa Bay has covered four straight as an underdog of 3.5-10.0 points and they are 8-1 ATS on the road. The Bucs are now 8-1 ATS this season on the road. Detroit won its second playoff game in 66 years, but the Lions barely got by Los Angeles, which outgained them 425-334. The Lions also are susceptible to a letdown following a rare and emotional playoff victory and they are up against a team that wasn't supposed to be here and has less pressure on it. The Buccaneers have covered five of their past seven playoff games and they are 7-3 OVER in road games against teams with winning home records. Detroit is 7-3 OVER its past 10 games and 5-0 OVER after allowing more than 350 yards its previous game. Detroit is 8-3 OVER this season in dome games and 7-1 OVER as a favporite of -3.5 to -9.5 points as well as 9-2 OVER when the total falls within the range of 42.5 to 49 points.
