Tampa Bay at Dallas

A couple things stand out to me in this game. Both of these teams came up short of the playoffs last season - Tampa Bay by a long shot. The Buccaneers brought in Greg Schiano from Rutgers and you can see that this team is much improved. They also have a legit QB n Josh Freeman, and they are moving the ball. They truly could be 2-0, but let the Giants back in the game after leading in the second half by two TDs. Eli Manning was picked off three times, but also punished the Tampa Bay secondary for over 500 yards. If the Bucs don't fall apart for 25 points allowed in the fourth quarter last week, they are 2-0. Instead, they lost and we get some value on them this week as a result. Dallas, is well, Dallas again. They looked like a team destined for a big season with an impressive opener at new York, but stumbled badly last week in Seattle, losing in ugly fashion 27-7. The Cowboys again have loads of talent, but that hasn't been good enough lately as they seem to find ways to lose games. Last week it was fumbling the opening kickoff, and getting a punt blocked for a quick 10 points for the Seahawks. After that, the team seemed to just quit. Dallas had the personnel to go far last year and won eight games. Four of those wins were by 3 points or less. They are a team that simply can't be trusted, especially as a favorite. They are now 4-16-1 ATS in their last 21 as chalk. This line is just too big for a much-improved Tampa Bay team. Play on the Bucs.
