Tampa Bay at Cincinnati

Last year it took the Bucs 16 games to reach two wins. They are already there in 2010 after three games thanks to the schedule-makers who handed Tampa Bay games against Cleveland and Carolina. Those teams sstruggled to score against the Bucs but the Steelers laid 38 on them in week three. The Bengals have been underachieving offensively, but signs point to that changing. Carson Palmer threw for 371 yards and two TDs last week vs. Cleveland. With Tampa Bay highly suspect in the secondary, I'm sure the ball will be in the air once again in this contest when the Bengals have the ball. Tampa currently ranks No. 28 against the pass, and it is not a good sign that the highly-challenged Pittsburgh offense led by Charlie Batch exploited the Bucs secondary as they did. The Bucs are also deficient in stopping the run ranking No. 31 of the 32 NFL teams, so Cincinnati should enjoy success moving the ball in this one in all facets. The Bucs have played to the OVER in four of their last five after a 10+ home defeat in their last game, while the Bengals return the same 4-1 over mark after an ATS loss. This one is going OVER the total.
