St. Louis at Seattle

Seattle floundered last game, losing at home as a big favorite. This team simply does not lose at home, and you can bet they will be focused this week. I expect a great defensive effort here from the Seahawks in a game that they must have if they want homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. That loss will wake this team up, and their calling card is defense - allowing just 14.8 points per game on the season. Even in last week's loss, they allowed just 17 points. The problem for Seattle of late has been their offense as it has averaged just 16.7 points per game over their last three. St. Louis has a pretty good defense as well - one with a mean pass rush. And, it's getting better, allowing 19.7 points per game over their last three. In the Jeff Fisher era, the Rams are 8-1 UNDER in December games. And in his coaching career, Fisher is 22-8 UNDER on the road vs. teams that average 24+ points per game. Finally, in their last 26 road games overall, the Rams are 17-8-1 to the UNDER. I expect a lot of defense here so play the UNDER.
