Seattle at Minnesota

Minnesota comes off a 34-25 win at New Orleans, and coach Mike Zimmer now is an exceptional 18-4 straight-up and 15-7 ATS in the preseason. The Vikings got contributions from four quarterbacks, including Sean Mannion (7-of-13 for 102 yards), starter Kirk Cousins (4-of-4 for 65 yards), Kyle Sloter (6-of-7 for 62 yards), and Jake Browning (2-of-3 for 18 yards). That's the kind of depth one would want to see in preseason games. The Vikings also rushed for 213 yards led by Mike Boone with 70 yards on only four carries. Seattle won its first preseason game since 2017 as Pete Carroll's team uncharacteristically lost all four preseason games in 2018. Paxton Lynch finished 11-of-15 for 109 yards and a touchdown, and Geno Smith came in and completed 3-of-9 for 58 yards. Minnesota also defeated the Seahawks 21-20 in Week 3 of last year's preseason. Zimmer is 12-9-1 UNDER in exhibition play, and the most recent regular-season meeting was in December when Seattle won 21-7, and it went UNDER by 17.5 points. Zimmer surely remembers that game, giving Minnesota a little more motivation in this matchup. Take the Vikings and UNDER.
