Tonight's game features two teams with Super Bowl aspirations. Week three is typically the dress rehersal for the regular season, with starters logging the most minutes they see during the exhibition season. As a result, this line is quite high, thanks to the public's view of San Diego. But let's not forget who doesn't play for San Diego in the preseason - their best player, LT. This is still the preseason so let's not get carried away with which is the better team statistically. Coaching philosophies enter into results in the preseason more than home field advantage or talent level. Mike Holmgren's Seahawk's have now covered seven of their last eight games during the NFL preseason. Holmgren has always taken on the mindset that this is the game to win, and his teams have responded with a 9-1 ATS mark in week three in the preseason! We like the generous points being offered, especially to a team and coach of the mindset to win. A team that scores 34 and 39 points in the first two weeks of the preseason (Seattle) is not playing to lose. We'll back the Seahawks to keep it under this number, and possibly win.
