San Francisco vs. Jacksonville

The Jacksonville Jaguars won just two games a year ago, and it looks like they will be in a similar spot come season's end this year. The Jags have not won a game yet this season at 0-7, and now have to play one of the top teams in the league in the San Francisco 49ers. The big dog number has certainly not deterred bettors from betting the Niners, as they are lined up at 70% on the Niners. The problem is that they are on the wrong side of what history has shown. NFL teams that are winless through 7+ games are 47-21-4 ATS, covering over 69% of the time blind! Those numbers move to 12-1 ATS if the point spread is more than 11. This looks like an ugly play on a winless team, but history backs us up on this one. Take the points and play on Jacksonville.
