Thus far in 2013, the San Francisco 49ers have not played the consistent defense they did a year ago. Four of their six opponents this season have reached 20 points, and half of them have hit 27. The Titans have played well on defense until you look at the breakdown. They played three teams that at the time of their game had just one combined loss. Those good teams went for 25.3 points per game against them while they held their other three opponents to just 13 ppg. I think that San Francisco qualifies as a very good team, and they should move the ball well here. The Niners are thought of as a tough defensive team, but you may be surprised to learn that they have played 10 of their last 13 games to the OVER. Want another surprise? The Niners have allowed 23.7 ppg in those last 13 games. The Titans come into this game at 7-1 to the OVER in their last eight after rushing for less than 90 yards in their previous contest. Tennessee is also 9-2 OVER in the Mike Munchak era after scoring 14 or fewer points last game. The OVER gets the call here.
