The San Francisco 49ers had a rare night under the lights and took advantage of it, taking down the Steelers rather easily last Monday night. It was a very important statement game for the Niners who feel they haven't gotten enough respect. It showed as they were focused and dominated Pittsburgh. There isn't much for this team to accomplish over the last two weeks, so a lackluster effort here would not be surprising. How can they get up for Seattle after that Monday night game? The Seahawks started the season 2-6, and what was bad appeared to be getting worse as the Seahawks have 11 players now on injured reserve. Despite that, a bad team that became injured, never quit and have been remarkably good in their last six games at 5-1. On the road, Seattle is hard to trust but at home, this team comes alive (5-2 ATS this season). The Seahawks’ offense scored 30 points or more just four times in their last 35 weeks before doing so in each of their last three weeks. It seems like we are watching as the light goes on for Tarvaris Jackson who has been at his best of late. He has not thrown an INT in each of his last three starts, and has connected on a TD strike in each of the three. The Niners are just 15-32-4 ATS following a win of 14 or more points. As road chalk, they have eaten a lot of it at 3-10-1 ATS in their last 14. Seattle comes in hot and against the NFC they have gone 8-1 ATS in their last nine games. Play on Seattle.
