Ken Dorsey replaces Tim Rattay for the Niners this week. Normally I don't like to back rookie QBs but I'll make an exception this Sunday. Anyone who saw last week's San Francisco game saw that Dorsey was calm and performed better than Rattay in a tough situation, leading the Niners on two scoring drives. This week he gets the entire week to prepare with the starting team. Dorsey was 38-2 as a starter with the Miami Hurricanes. This guy knows how to win. The Saints looked pretty bad last week, making it a gift that we are getting over a touchdown in this one. I believe the public is chalking their 21-7 loss up to Seattle being so great (everyone's talked about them the entire offseason) rather than to New Orleans weaknesses. The Saints were outgained 415 to 281 yards last week. New Orleans is just 5-8 in September under coach Jim Haslett. As with the Miami game, visiting 0-1 dogs facing another 0-1 team cover the spread nearly 7 out of 10 times. While it's a small chance, I give San Francisco an outside shot at winning this game. One unit on San Francisco +7.5 and one unit on the money-line for them to win the game straight-up.
