Andy Reid has a well-known history of not caring in the preseason and his record (21-31) reflects it. What is even more prounounced however is how he does in openers. The Eagles are just 5-17 straight-up in preseason week one since 1990. They are also 1-7 in their last eight. Under Mike Tomlin, the Steelers have started strong, going 4-1 in preseason openers. Overall under Tomlin, the Steelers are 16-5 straight up in the exhibition season as this head coach clearly wants to win. You could make an argument that his team will want to win this game for Reid, given the death of his son. But, the fact remains that Reid doesn't care about winning preseason games and his players know that. Take Pittsburgh to win this game.
