It's hard to deny that the Giants have been the best team in football when the games get big over the last several years. They own a pair of Super Bowl rings over the last five seasons, and their path to those rings included wins in seven of eight games as an underdog. The Giants really come to play when they are either supposed to lose or a close game is expected. Their last 75 games posted as a favorite of 3 or less, pick-‘em, or underdog show them at an uncanny 50-25 ATS. This is a big statement game and I expect we'll see New York's A game, which is better than everyone else's. The Steelers have looked a lot more vulnerable this season than what we have seen in the past. They have losses to Tennessee, Oakland and Denver and we are not yet at the halfway point of the season. Both Big Ben and Eli Manning have the proven ability to pull games out late, but the Giants have been better than anyone in this role. For a game going that could potentially come down to the wire, I'll take Eli. The G-Men are now 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games vs. a winning team. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh is 0-6 ATS since last season following a double-digit home win and 1-8 ATS over tha span on the road following a win.
