Philadelphia at New York

Philadelphia will make the short trip to take on the NY Giants in a key divisional matchup between a pair of 4-3 teams. For the most part, the Giants have seen things break their way, as they have played four games decided by four or fewer points and they have captured the win in three of those. This team could have just as easily gone 1-3 in those games, and instead of talking about a 4-3 team we would be talking about a 2-5 team. The Eagles have been quite different, they own four wins by 11 points or more for an average of 19 points per game. On the other hand, their 3 losses have been by a combined 14 points. It is easy to see the team with more of an upside. Carson Wentz has also been better than advertised. The Eagles offense has been consistent, generating 20 points or more in all seven games, while the defense allows just 16.7 ppg. That is in stark contrast to the Giants who have managed 17 or fewer points in more than half their games, and a defense that has given up 23 points or more in four of their last five games.
