Both of these teams have a lot to prove, as they are both coming off disappointing seasons. Philadelphia thought it was time to change and Andy Reid was let go in the offsesason. In comes Chip Kelly and his high-octane offensive philosophy. Kelly is all about offense, calling all the plays himself from the sidelines. He also allows receivers to alter routes. We have yet to see this offense in full force, and I really don't think Kelly is ready to unveil it, as many may think. He would rather hold it for a surprise in week 1 of the regular season - when it counts. I think that this line is over-played from hype. Jacksonville has the ability to win this game, and at the very least stay close. The Jags are 0-2 and really do need a win here, or the pressure is going to really be on from fans, media, and ownership. In their last seven preseason games following back-to-back losses, the Jags are a perfect 7-0 against the number. They are also 12-5 ATS in their last 17 preseason games in which they scored 14 or fewer points last game. The Jags are motivated and at home and this one could easily come down to the last possession, so I like the points. Go with the Jags.
