Philadelphia at Atlanta

Philadelphia made a great comeback from a 17-0 deficit to defeat the Redskins 32-27 while Atlanta self-destructed by committing four turnovers that Minnesota turned into four touchdowns. The Falcons figure to be more disciplined this week. Matt Ryan still completed 33-of-46 for 304 yards and two touchdowns against the Vikings although he did throw two picks. Atlanta actually outgained the Vikings 345-269 and Minnesota had only 97 net passing yards. Obviously the score was deceptive and the Falcons are 4-0 ATS over the last four years in Week 2, and in fact, last year they lost on the road to Philadelphia in the opener and then bounced back to win and cover against Carolina the second week of the season. The Eagles are 0-4 ATS over their last four September games and 2-8 ATS in Week 2. The Falcons are 22-9 ATS their last 31 after scoring fewer than 15 points their previous game. Philly went OVER by 15 points last week and the Eagles are 13-3-1 OVER in Week 2 and 5-2 OVER in their last seven September games while Atlanta is 9-3 OVER in September. Play the Falcons and the OVER.
