Last week the Arizona Cardinals created some shockwaves in the NFL when they went to New England as a nearly two TD underdog and won the game outright 20-18. The Cardinals’ defense impressively kept the powerful Patriots’ offense out of the end zone for 58 minutes in the game. That was on the heels of holding the Seahawks to one TD in their opener at home. The Arizona defense has now held their last 11 opponents to 23 points or less. Yet, this team just isn't getting the respect as they are instilled as a home dog here. John Skelton surprisingly beat out Kevin Kolb for the starting QB job, but Kolb rescued the Seattle game, and is now the man. He has been free of INTs in managing a reasonably solid offense. Many forget that the Cards finished last season 7-2, and are now 9-2 in their last 11 games. They are now a confident, under-the-radar team. Meanwhile, the Eagles continue to underpeform. They disappointed massively a year ago, missing the playoffs despite having the "Dream Team." They have been suspect in going 2-0 with 1-point wins vs. a good team and one bad one this season. Michael Vick has been running for his life, as the offensive line is playing horrible. So far he has rushed into six INTs, and has been sacked four times and he's been forced to run 17 others. The Cardinals are tough in this role at home, and are playing with supreme confidence. Philly simply can't be trusted. Play on Arizona.
