The Jets are favored in this home game for both teams, but this is a tough matchup for them. The Jets are not explosive on offense despite putting up 38 points against Miami last week. They are a ball-control offense, but face a NY Giants defense that has allowed 18, 27 and 20 points the last three games -- and the 27 was to Tom Brady and the defending champs. The Jets are on a 1-4-1 ATS run, 3-11-2 ATS after allowing fewer than 90 yards rushing in their previous game. The Jets secondary loses star CB Darrelle Revis to a concussion. Jets CB Marcus Williams, who replaced Revis in the lineup week, is nursing a sprained knee and has yet to practice this week. That secondary faces a talented passing attack with veteran QB in Eli Manning (23 TDs, nine INTs; 3,021 yds, 18 sacks, 62%), WR Odell Beckham, WR Reuben Randle and versatile RB Shane Vareen. Beckham had nine catches for a 142 yards last week and a touchdown to continue his torrid stretch. The Giants are on a 3-1-1 ATS run and when these area rivals clash the dog is 3-1-1 ATS, plus the Jets are 0-4-1 ATS. Back the NY Giants.
