The New York Giants followed up a bad performance against the Steelers with an even worse showing at Cleveland in a 10-6 loss on Monday night. The Giants had a total of 212 net yards of offense, including 65 rushing yards on 20 carries. The passing stats weren't too bad, but the Giants just couldn't get it into the end zone. Eli Manning was 10-of-14 for 80 yards, Geno Smith went 11-of-17 for 79 yards with an interception and Josh Johnson was two of four for six yards. The Giants also lost two fumbles and worst of all lost star wide receiver, Odell Beckham Jr. to an injury which has him in danger of missing the regular season opener. The Jets have split their first two games and used just two quarterbacks last week against Detroit. Bryce Petty was 15-of-24 for 160 yards and Christian Hackenberg went two of six for 14 yards. Josh McCown is expected to be named the starter for the season, however, Petty is giving him some good competition. Jets coach Todd Bowles is 6-4 ATS in preseason and Giants coach Ben McAdoo is 1-5 ATS. The Giants are 2-7-1 ATS in Week 3 the last eight years and the Jets look to avenge a 21-20 loss to their intra-city rival in the 2016 preseason. Play the Jets.
