Todd Bowles won 10 games in his first season as coach of the Jets, and expectations loomed large last year, but were short lived as the Jets struggled through an injury riddled campaign to finish 5-11. The Jets stripped their roster of veterans with the thinking that if they win five games with veterans, they have the wrong ones. High hopes are that QB Christian Hackenberg develops quickly. the Jets used the draft to bring in some new targets at WR and TE, while the running game was solid finishing 12th in the league a year ago. Buffalo has the longest playoff drought of any professional U.S. team at 17 years, and always seem to have hopes, but never live up to them. Terry Pegula has shown impatience and is now on his third head coach in 2+ years of team ownership. The Bills are the consummate break-even team, and QB Tyrod Taylor epitomizes that at 14-14 for his career. He is stable, but not among the elite in the league. Overall, this game caps out a lot closer than the TD+ odds pinned on the Bills. Make the play on New York.
