The N.Y. Giants' offense has been anemic all season at #24 in total yards, #30 in points (16.2 per game) and no balance with just 92 yards rushing per contest (#26). The defense has more talent, evidenced the last game in a 12-9 upset of the Chiefs as a +10 dog. New York is 7-3 UNDER the total when following a straight-up win, plus 31-14 UNDER on the road against teams allowing 24+ points per game. The weather is turning cold at night in Washington, expected to be 39 degrees for this one. The Redskins' offense has had a rough week with injuries, placing four offensive players on Injured Reserve in WR Terrelle Pryor, RB Chris Thompson, guard Shawn Lauvao and center Spencer Long. Thompson suffered a fractured fibula in the third quarter of the loss to the Saints last week. His loss is particularly difficult as he was leading Washington in both rushing and receiving this season. With the UNDER 8-3 when these division rivals meet, look for more defense than offense.
