Is this de ja vu for the Giants in 2010-11? Last season the G-men were a force early, starting 5-0, allowing 14 points per game. Then the wheels began to fall off, culminating in allowing 40+ in three of their last four games. Fast forward to this year, and the Giants had the champagne corks all but popped until Philly hangs 28 on them in the final seven minutes to snatch the bottles right out of their hands. They go to Green Bay in a must-win situation, and the defense coughs-up 45 points and over 500 yards. That makes 73 points in four and a half quarters of football! It's no wonder that the Giants are 20-10 to the OVER the past two seasons. That includes a 9-2 OVER mark in division. The Skins’ 50 points in the last two weeks behind newly appointed QB Rex Grossman is the second best two-game total of the season. Washington isn't stopping much on defense, and the Giants are on their heels defensively. With Brian Orakpo and his 8.5 sacks likely to miss this game, Eli Manning and the Giant's offense should have success. The Giants have seen nine of their last 11 within the division top the total, and seven of the last nine between these clubs have gone OVER the total in Washington. Under Tom Coughlin, the Giants are 12-3 OVER on the road following a road loss. The OVER is the way to go here.
