The Giants’ offense, which was prone to mistakes, has seen Eli Manning emerge into a top-flight QB this season. He threw 25 INTs a year ago, to just six so far this season, and the Giants’ offense has now produced 20 or more points in seven straight games. The 49ers are similar as Alex Smith has emerged as well throwing just two INTs all season with a QB rating of close to the 100 mark. It has allowed Frank Gore more room to operate and he is churning out 5 yards per carry. What has been an under-the-radar attack for the Niners at home, has delivered an average of 34 points per game in their last six on their home field. San Francisco has now played to an 8-2 OVER mark in their last 10 vs. NFC foes, and the Giants are at 18-7-1 to the OVER in their last 26 vs. the NFC, as well as 12-3-1 to the OVER in their last 16 after an ATS win. Even if Manning reverts back to his mistake-prone alter ego, interceptions often lead to defensive points. Offense rules the day to an average total, so take the OVER.
