New York at Philadelphia

The defending Super Bowl champion was totally embarrassed in a blowout loss at New Orleans and now Philadelphia has an opportunity to redeem itself versus the lowly Giants. New York lost the first meeting 34-13 in the midst of a five-game losing streak before they managed to beat two bottom-feeders in San Francisco and Tampa Bay. New York is 6-14-1 ATS the last 21 meetings and the UNDER is 6-2 the last eight meetings at Philadelphia. The Eagles have gone UNDER eight of their last 10 home games and they are 5-1 UNDER their last six games when following a loss. Coach Doug Pederson has been criticized for not getting newly-acquired Golden Tate utilized enough, so expect that to change this week as the Eagles need to get an early lead to get a running game going in a more balanced offense. Eli Manning had his best game in years completing 17-of-18 for 231 yards and two touchdowns and no interceptions, but that was against the leaky Tampa Bay secondary. The Giants have gone UNDER in five of their last seven versus NFC East teams. The Eagles obviously have the motivational edge as this is nearly a must win to stay in contention while the Giants are going nowhere. Philly laying this many points after last week's performance makes this a solid play on the Eagles on the moneyline plus the UNDER.
