The New York Giants have lost their first two games by a combined score of 48-10. Eli Manning played four series in the 21-0 loss to Buffalo and his team had 23 net yards while he was in the game. Manning was four-of-nine and backup Ryan Nassib was horrible, completing just 2-of-12 passes for 25 yards.  The Giants had a total of 166 yards for the game, including just 64 passing yards. The defense allowed the Bills 343 yards, including 273 through the air.  The Jets lost 22-18 at Washington, however, Bryce Petty may have played himself into the leading backup role behind Ryan Fitzpatrick. Petty was 16-of-26 for 242 yards and no picks after Fitzpatrick started and was four-of-nine for 35 yards. Also, undrafted rookie Robby Anderson had six catches for 131 yards and a touchdown. Most of the starters are expected to play at least the first half with Fitzpatrick and Petty getting most of the action. Meanwhile, Geno Smith was not very effective against the Redskins, completing 6-of-13 for 47 yards and an interception. Jets coach Todd Bowles was 3-1 straight-up and ATS last year in exhibition play, including a 28-18 win over the Giants. His team looks to be in much better form at this stage of the preseason and there won't be a lack of motivation at MetLife Stadium where both teams play. Back the Jets.
