New York at New England

The New York Giants have a strong all-around team. The offense busted out last week in a 32-21 win over the Jets, leading 29-3 at the half. The Giants ran effectively, moved the ball well, while the defense had three sacks and two picks. Roster cuts are Saturday for NFL teams and the Giants have 12 players on the bubble, so there is a lot of incentive for several players in this one. The Giants have done well in this annual Week 4 matchup with neighboring New England, winning 17-9 last season, 12-9 in 2015 and 16-13 in 2014. They face a Patriots team with nothing to prove after the first-team offense and defense were dominant at Detroit, leading 24-0 in the first. The team got a major jolt with the season-ending loss of WR Julian Edelman, a key component and Tom Brady's favorite target. The depth at defensive end is a serious concern for New England, trading for LB Marquis Flowers this week (he was injured all of last season). With the UNDER 3-0 the last three years in Week 4 between these teams, look for the visitors to get the straight-up win in another defensive battle. Play both the NY Giants on the moneyline as well as the UNDER.
