LA's Greg Zuerlein has kicked 185 field goals with 29 coming from over 49 yards. That's a much higher rate of 15.6S% which gives pause for concern, but in the Super Bowl, place kickers are not used as much. Teams want to score touchdowns. Out of 52 Super Bowls, there have only been 14 games with field goals of 45+ yards (27%). Fair odds on that bet are -270. And, that's based on 45 yards, not 48. In addition, has this changed recently? Maybe with the recent rule changes that favor offense, this percentage has gone up. Actually it's just the opposite.
