New England at New York

Bill Belichick is taking some heat after his team's awful showing in Monday night's 33-14 loss to Chicago on the Patriots' home field and that includes from former Patriots cornerback Asante Samuel. However, Belichick has a history of bouncing back following a loss and New England is 7-0 ATS after a double-digit home loss and 6-1 ATS on Sundays after playing on Monday night. Mac Jones is expected to start after he went 3-for-6 with an interception against the Bears, but he appears to be fully recovered from the ankle injury that had kept him out the previous games. The surprising New York Jets are 5-2, but only one of their wins have come against a team that currently is above .500. The Jets won an ugly contest 16-9 against Denver with Zach Wilson completing 16 of 26 for only 121 yards and no TDs. The Jets suffered a major injury as running back Breece Hall, the team's leading rusher, is out for the year with a torn ACL. New York is 7-19 ATS its past 26 games against the AFC East and the Patriots have covered four of the last five meetings and will be out to redeem themselves after Monday's embarrassing performance.
