The Patriots are 2-1, but there are signs that say this team is not as good as they may appear. Tom Brady is now 37 and his numbers have declined in total passing yards, passer rating, and TD passes for the last three years, and this appears to be the fourth and worst. New England is generating just 5.5 yards per pass play, and Stevan Ridley is generating just 3.3 yards per carry. As a result, this total has been deflated. You can be sure the Pats spent the long preparation week working hard on their offense. I expect an improved effort from New England on that side of the ball tonight. The Chiefs are expecting Jamaal Charles back for this one, which should help improve their offensive output as well.
