Tom Brady returns from his four-game suspension just in time to try and right the ship after New England was blanked at home for the first time since 1993. Cleveland is 0-4, but the Browns have been competitive in their last three games, including last week when they held a 20-17 lead against Washington before turnovers did them in. Rookie Cody Kessler did an adequate job completing 28-of-40 for 223 yards with an interception and a touchdown. Cleveland outgained the Redskins 380-301 and averaged 5.8 yards per carry as Isaiah Crowell rushed for 120 yards on 16 carries. In fact, Cleveland is the top rushing team in the league with Crowell gaining 394 yards on the season and Duke Johnson adding 148 and the team is averaging 149.3 yards on the ground. The Browns are #12 in the league in total offensive yards and both teams are in the bottom half on defense with the Patriots #19 in yards allowed and the Browns #22. Rob Gronkowski is still suffering from a hamstring injury and is questionable for this game. New England is playing its first road contest after three straight home games. The Patriots have covered the number just twice their last eight road games. Cleveland's last three games have gone OVER the total and New England has gone OVER 11 of its last 16 games against teams with losing records. Brady's return doesn't justify laying double digits on the road yet as over the past five seasons, Belichick and Brady are just 1-7 ATS as a road favorite of more than a touchdown. Play the Browns and the OVER.
