New England at Cincinnati

The New England Patriots will open the season on the road at Cincinnati. This will be the first look at New England's offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt. Van Pelt has always had the priority to run the ball, and they might have a good chance of success against a Cincinnati defense that struggled against the run last season. The Bengals allowed over 136 yards per contest a year ago which ranked tied for 26th worst in the NFL. It looks like the bengals will be without Ja'Marr Chase, and their lack of a running game may allow the Pats to focuse on Tee Higgins. Opening week has shown that +8 to +11.5 road favorites have carryied the mail as they are 34-20 ATS. I like New England.
