Pete Carroll is doing a great coaching job this year, keeping the Seahawks in playoff contention. They lead the NFL in rushing, averaging 148.8 yards per game. This team has rushed for at least 150 yards in seven of their past eight games despite what was thought to be a suspect offensive line. The passing has been equally impressive. Russell Wilson has thrown 29 touchdown passes with only five interceptions, and Mondays are his specialty as he has 16 TDs and only two picks on Monday Night Football. Meanwhile, his counterpart Kirk Cousins has thrown nine TD passes with six interceptions his last five games. And, Minnesota has struggled to find a balanced offense. It has averaged only 19.6 points its last five while alternating wins and losses. The Vikings managed only 278 total offense yards against New England, and Cousins went 32 of 44 with two interceptions and 201 yards. Seattle has won three in a row and it is 6-1-1 ATS its last eight games following the blowout and they come off a 43-16 win over San Francisco last week. The Vikings are just 2-9 straight-up against winning teams in their last 11 such road games. They are also just 2-9 ATS their last 11 Monday Night games. Under Mike Zimmer, the Vikings are 5-12 straight-up after scoring 14 or fewer points the previous game. Seattle is a small favorite, but this one might be close. Go with the Seahawks on the moneyline.
