Minnesota makes a long trip to the northwest for its preseason debut. Starting QB Kirk Cousins is very good but they won't risk playing him much (or at all) in this meaningless game. That means Nick Mullens and Jaren Hall will share the load behind center. The Vikings won the division last year but cared little about preseason, losing all three games in August (0-3 ATS), including two on the road. Seattle impressed last year with a winning record and is a team with high expectations. Coach Pete Carroll is one of the best in the league. He knows how to get his team prepared and to play hard, even in preseason. Carroll has a winning record in August, including 26-19-1 ATS, along with winning seven of 12 times in Week 1, so back home field. Play Seattle.
