Minnesota at Los Angeles

Minnesota suffered its first loss of the season last week, 31-29 to Detroit (a nice winner for us). Here the Vikings look to bounce back against the Rams, who beat the lowly Las Vegas Raiders 20-15 last week while being outgained 317-259. Los Angeles relied on four turnovers by the Raiders to eke out a win, and Matthew Stafford was 14 of 23 for 154 yards with an interception. The Vikings lost when Jake Bates kicked a 44-yard field goal in the final seconds for Detroit, which had a narrow edge in total yards 391-383. Minnesota is 7-1-2 ATS its past 10 road games and it has won nine of 11 October games outright. The Rams have lost five of their past six against NFC teams and defensively they are #26 in the NFL in total yards allowed per game (364.3). Stafford has sorely missed his top two receivers in Puka Nacua, who is on injured reserved and Cooper Kupp, who has been upgraded to probable after being out with an ankle injury. With those two guys at full strength, this offense is a different animal. Minnesota is a small favorite. I'm taking the Vikings on the moneyline.
