The Green Bay Packers played their best game of the season in Chicago last week. After taking heat from the fans and media, Aaron Rodgers went out and pitched a near perfect game vs. the Bears. This offense seems to have figured things out. The Vikings had a big game vs. Atlanta at home last week behind Teddy Bridgewater, but he left the game in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury, and was held out of practice on Monday. His status is questionable for Thursday, but at best he will be less than 100%. And, the Packers now have tape on him. If Bridgewater can't go, the Vikings have to settle for Christian Ponder. Either way it's not a good QB situation for the Vikes. Aaron Rodgers seldom loses at home where the Packers are 29-2 straight-up when he starts here. Eddie Lacey has started slow, but he went for 102 yards per game and scored twice vs. the Vikings a year ago. The last 24 games Rodgers has started at Lambeau in the regular season, the Packers have averaged 33.3 points per game, and they have given up 30 or more points just twice. The Vikings are off a big emotional dog win at home, and have to bounce back on three days’ rest with a backup running back and a hobbled rookie QB at best. The Packers are 61-45 ATS vs. division opponents and 33-21 ATS as a home favorite under Mike McCarthy.. Lay the points for a big win by Green Bay.
