Miami at New York

The bad news for the Miami Dolphins is that they head into Week 8 winless on the season. The good news is that they played a very good game against Denver for 55 minutes, and had a 15-0 lead with less than three minutes, only to lose in overtime. That loss gives them five of their six losses by 10 points or less. So although winless, they are knocking on the door and staying competitive. The Giants at 4-2 have not looked good of late, eeking out a come-from-behind home win vs. the Bills, and unforgivingly losing to the Seahawks at home by double-digits. This is an easy no-show game for the G-Men, which they have been prone to do in recent years. They can't be excited to face Miami and they have a big look-ahead on the schedule with New England on deck and San Francisco the week after. The Giants have had problems getting the running game going this season, and Eli Manning is the epitome of inconsistency at the QB position. As bad as Tony Sparano has been at Miami, this is a good spot for him. He's 14-5 ATS on the road after the first month of the season. The Dolphins are another of the ugly winless teams that from Week 8 on have been a 67% winner, so we're on them.
