Miami at New York

There were many experts who thought Miami wouldn't win a single game this year, but the Dolphins surprisingly have won three. Miami would have beaten the Jets last week except for Sam Ficken's 44-yard field goal as time expired. Miami QB Ryan Fitzpatrick was 21-of-37 for 245 yards and he has a 62.2-percent completion rate while throwing for 2,511 yards in 12 games. Miami has been a big money maker lately, covering seven of its last nine games and the Dolphins are getting points this week against the Giants, who have lost nine in a row. New York couldn't beat the injury-riddled Eagles on Monday night even though Eli Manning returned and the Giants had a 14-point lead before losing in overtime. New York has the #26 offense in the league in yards gained and it's also #26 in rushing yards and averages 19 points per game. The Dolphins have covered five of their last six versus teams with losing records and five of six when following a loss. The Giants are 5-16-1 ATS their last 22 home games and 2-6-1 ATS their last nine as favorites and 2-6 ATS their last eight overall. The Giants are playing out the string and coach Pat Shurmer is hanging by a thread and meanwhile Miami is scrapping for every win it can get. Take the Dolphins.
