Miami at Jacksonville

Miami has easily gone UNDER its first two games scoring three points in Week 1 and then allowing only three in Week 2 when it beat Houston 28-3. Skylar Thompson played most of the game and threw for 157 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions and will be a solid backup to Tua Tagovailoa, who was 5 of 7 for 61 yards against the Texans, who were held to 32 yards rushing and only 154 through the air. The Dolphins consumed a lot of time running the ball 38 times for 205 yards. Miami coach Mike McDaniel is 3-2 straight up and ATS and 3-2 UNDER in preseason. The Dolphins are 6-0 straight up and 5-0-1 ATS the past six preseason meetings with Jacksonville and they have covered three straight overall in Week 3 and they are 9-3 ATS overall since 2019. Jacksonville is 0-5 ATS its past five preseason home games and the Jaguars went winless with a 0-4 ATS record in Doug Peterson's first year in 2022. The Jaguars went UNDER by five points in a 25-7 win over Detroit last week and Pederson is 12-9-1 UNDER in preseason, including when he coached Philadelphia.
