Los Angeles at Seattle

Los Angeles is 8-1 ATS the past nine meetings with Seattle, including the last five and the Seahawks had to go into overtime to put away the Rams and gain a playoff spot in last year's final regular season game. The Rams have a new offensive coordinator in Mike LaFleur and still have stalwarts Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp and Aaron Donald. The Seahawks were money burners the second half of the season with a 1-8 ATS record their last nine games, including two ATS losses against the Rams. Seattle's defense isn't as dominating as its past teams and it is questionable if Geno Smith can duplicate his unexpected great season as he won the NFL Comeback Player of the Year. The Rams have covered four of their past five Week 1 games and the Seahawks are 0-6 ATS their past six versus NFC opponents and 0-4 ATS their past four overall as favorites. Also, Seattle is 0-4 ATS as a favorite of 3.5-10.0 points. Stafford is back to full health for now and always gives his team a chance. Take the Rams as a Max Play.
