Los Angeles at Seattle

Los Angeles gets a chance to redeem itself after a poor showing at Seattle in Week 16, when the Rams lost 20-9 before bouncing back to defeat Arizona 18-7 with John Wolford filling in for the injured Jared Goff at quarterback. Wolford passed for 231 yards and rushed for 56 more in his NFL debut. Goff's status for this game is questionable as of this writing as he's recovering from thumb surgery. If Goff doesn't go, either Wolford or Blake Bortles will take his place. Either way, the Ram defense can keep it close as it leads the league in yards allowed and the Rams also are #1 in scoring defense with only 18.5 points per game. This has not been one of Pete Carroll's better defensive squads as it's #22 in yards allowed and next-to-last in pass defense. The Seahawks have won four in a row, including 26-23 over the 49ers on Sunday when Russell Wilson threw two fourth-quarter touchdown passes. Los Angeles has covered three of the last four meetings and the Rams are 20-7-1 ATS their last 28 games versus the NFC, including 9-4-1 ATS versus the NFC West. The Seahawks are just 1-7 ATS following a win and they are only 3-6 ATS their last nine games. Take the Rams as my first Wild Card Max Play
