Los Angeles at New Orleans

Everyone is gunning for the unbeaten L.A. Rams who are coming off a 29-27 comeback win at home against the Packers. Vegas thinks this is a place they may stumble. Are the oddsmakers correct in predicting a Saints victory? The Rams head to red-hot New Orleans where they face Drew Brees, who has thrown 14 TDs to just one pick. Brees leads a balanced attack that is eighth in the NFL in yards, ninth in passing and second in points scored at 33.4 points per game. And, the Saints are coached by one of the best in the business. Under Sean Payton, this team is 105-89 ATS including 48-27 ATS against winning teams...and 21-9 ATS vs. the best teams (those outscoring opponents by 6+ points per game). In their last 29 home games facing teams with winning road records, the Saints are 24-5 ATS. Let's not take anything away from the Rams who have the most potent offense in the league, and the best back in Todd Gurley. But, the New Orleans defense is tops in the league against the run allowing just 74.1 yards rushing per contest.
