Los Angeles at Detroit

This is an intriguing matchup as it features quarterbacks that were traded for one another in Matthew Stafford and Jared Goff and those kinds of games are fun to watch. The Rams are a dangerous team now with a Super Bowl-winning coach in Sean McVay and a reasonably healthy team plus Stafford, who has thrown for 3,965 yards and 24 TDs with 11 interceptions this season and they won seven of their final eight games with a 6-2 ATS mark. The only loss was at Baltimore and the Rams lost 37-31 in overtime. Los Angeles also has a sensational wide receiver in Puka Nacua, who broke rookie records for yards (1,486) and catches (105). Detroit has won one playoff game since 1957 and its defense is still a question mark although it has come up big at times this season. The Lions also could be without standout tight end Sam LaPorta, who suffered a knee injury last week against Minnesota. The Rams are 7-3 UNDER as road underdogs and they have held their past four opponents to 21.7 points per game. Detroit has allowed 20.2 its past four games. The Rams have only 18 turnovers in 17 games, No. 6 in the league. Los Angeles is just two years removed from a Super Bowl championship and have the obvious experience edge.
