Los Angeles at New York

Something has to give as both teams are looking for their first win, and the Chargers might have the road team advantage after feeling unwanted at its actual home field in Los Angeles. Philip Rivers passed for 347 yards and two touchdowns in a 26-24 loss to Philadelphia last Sunday, and the game went OVER by two points. New York has gone OVER its last two games, including its 25-23 loss at Tampa Bay in Week 4 as Eli Manning completed 30-of-49 passes for 288 yards in another heartbreaking loss on a last-second field goal for the second week in a row. Coach Ben McAdoo said he's going back to basics, but the fact that he has to do it in Week 5 doesn't bode well for a team that has played sloppy football on both sides of the ball, including dropped passes on offense and a defense that can't close out games. Odell Beckham, Jr. is day-to-day with ankle and finger injuries. The Chargers have gone OVER six of their last seven October games, and Rivers will have a good day against a Giants secondary that allowed 332 passing yards by Jameis Winston in the loss to the Buccaneers. The wrong team is favored in this matchup, so take the Chargers and the OVER.
