The San Diego Chargers started off the season allowing 24+ points in all of their first eight games. They managed to keep it under that number just once in their first eleven games. Then something changed. They allowed 17 points to Denver, then 10 to Kansas City (on the road) and 14 last week to Miami. Oakland gave up 22 or more in seven of their first nine games, but have kept it UNDER in three of their last five. The problem for both teams is that as soon as their defenses have stepped up, the offenses have given up. Over their last five games, the Chargers have scored three or fewer points three times. Oakland has averaged just 17.7 points per game over their last six as Derek Carr has struggled. Under Mike McCoy, San Diego is 25-11 UNDER vs. conference opponents and 12-1 UNDER when revenging a loss, and 12-1 UNDER after a game in which his team scored 30+ points. Take the UNDER in this one.
