Los Angeles at Kansas City

Kansas City has beaten the Chargers nine times in a row (7-2 ATS), including its 38-28 win in the first week of the season. The Chiefs come off a hard-fought yet impressive overtime win over Baltimore. If not for overtime, the game would have come in UNDER the total. The Chiefs have scored 118 points their last three games and obviously all have gone OVER, pushing this total up. Pat Mahomes completed 35-of-53 for 377 yards against the Ravens and he will get his points, but I don't expect it to be enough to push this game over the total. Now Kansas City gets another home game against the Chargers, who have won three straight although two of them were against the lowly Cardinals and Bengals and the other was a miracle victory at Pittsburgh. The Chargers actually were outyarded by Cincinnati 295-288 and Philip Rivers finished 19-of-29 for 220 yards. Los Angeles running back Melvin Gordon has missed the last two games and is very questionable for this one. The Chargers are 3-8 ATS their last 11 games in December while the Chiefs are 12-3 ATS against the AFC West. Since Anthony Ray Lynn took over, the Chargers are 15-6 UNDER vs. conference opponents and 12-4 UNDER after a game that went UNDER the total.Andy Reid is 32-15 UNDER at home here in Kansas City and 42-27 UNDER as a favorite.
